Hi, I have installed your CP store plugin on my WP blog, but I am not able to create a shortcode. My web host does not enable allow_url_fopen, but offers a cURL alternative. However, I have NO programming knowledge, so I can’t figure out what to do to use your great plugin. Can you help? Or am I just out of luck?

    Thanks!

I’ll take a look at that in my next update and try to get a sense of how it would affect others.

The webhost we use is downtownhost.com and their services rock. They basically allow the full gamut on their php hosting so we never have issues there.

Very sorry for the delay in replying. I had my notifications off for some reason.

    Jim

Hiya Teesed - Has there been a change to the WP wishads grid for Zazzle store? Yesterday I was making pages, today I’m getting an error. The ones I made previously are still working, though. Here’s what I get when I try to make a new grid on an blank page: shuffle() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home1/***/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wishads_zazzlestore/wishads_zazzlestore.php on line 340

Hey, let me check on that. That’s the plugin that you put on your own site, so nothing on our end would have changed that. And I doubt you were messing with it. I’ve seen a similar error, so let me try to track it down. Could be just a glitch on getting the feed from zazzle, then a cached error. Clear your cached folder and see if that helps in the meantime.

How often does the cache clear or re-cache?

For which? In most of the stuff like plugins there’s a setting in the configuration file you can change.

    Sorry for Cafe Press store.

I added the code then updated a section and had dead links.

I will look for that setting.

    Thanks :)

    Hey Jim,

Having issues with CP Store plugin. On a few posts I’m getting this error message: XML error: mismatched tag at line 4

You can see that example here: smallmemories.com/shop/family-sun-n-fun-memory-gifts/

When I take out the CP short code, the text above it shows, like here:
    smallmemories.com/shop/spring-bunny-stops-to-smell-the-daisy/

Some posts are working like here: smallmemories.com/shop/your-secret-santa-is-watching/

I’m running php 5.2.4 on HGator

    Any ideas?

Hmm… working and not working doesn’t make sense. :(
Try clearing your cache in case something happened when it tried to get the XML from CafePress?

    Hi,
I just installed the plugin and when I generate the shortcode and then preview the page I get “can’t create local file” and nothing displays on the page. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

To start, I’d just like to say that I love Wishads. It’s a great plugin and a very useful tool.

However, I’m having an issue that I can’t seem to fix: The links generated by Wishads don’t point to the product pages. Instead, they link back to the page that the product grid is on.

For example, if my grid of t-shirt ads is located at http://www.website.com/shirts, clicking on any of the product links takes me right back to http://www.website.com/shirts, instead of to the Zazzle product page.

Nothing on the settings page seems to correct this behavior, and Googling hasn’t produced any solutions. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Gryphius, check out this post that should fix that.
